USD. Monthly options renew each month until you cancel (email [email protected] any time); per-issue options are one-off. We accept a sponsor only if the product is relevant to our readers, and we can decline any placement.
How paying works
- Pay now opens Stripe's secure checkout. Card details go to Stripe, never to us.
- Right after paying, you send us your ad details (company, link, headline, a line or two of copy, preferred page or issue date).
- We review every placement before it goes live: it must be accurate, not misleading, and it's always labelled "Sponsored". If we can't accept it, we refund you in full.
- Your slot goes live after we review your ad details.
Paid placements are always labelled. Rankings are never sold.

A featured listing changes how your listing looks, never where it ranks or what we say about price, pros, cons or reviews.
How a featured placement looks
Example only. On a category page it sits at the top, above and clearly separate from the listings and any ranking, labelled the same way. It never takes a numbered position or changes the order.
Our rankings stay independent
- Money never changes the ranking. Sponsors can't buy a position, a better score, a kinder summary or a different price calculation, and a sponsor that ranks low stays low.
- Every paid placement is labelled "Sponsored" or "Sponsor" and links with
rel="sponsored". - Sponsoring doesn't affect reader reviews: vendors can't remove or hide them (see the review policy).
- We keep checking sponsors' prices like everyone else's and will say so if they go up.
