We don't run third-party ad trackers. If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email is stored by our newsletter provider, beehiiv, and used only to send the newsletter (about one email a month); every email has an unsubscribe link. To limit spam, signups are rate-limited using a keyed one-way hash of your IP address that expires within a day. Outbound links to vendors may include affiliate tracking set by the vendor.

Reader reviews

When you leave a review we store what you type in the form: rating, industry, what you pay, call volume, how long you've used the product, title, review, the name or initials you choose, and your email. We publish everything except your email. Your email is used to send the one confirmation link and, if needed, to ask you about your review. It's never shown, sold or added to the newsletter.

To limit spam we keep a keyed one-way hash of your IP address for a few hours to a day (rate limiting), never the address itself. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, reviews are stored in Cloudflare's database (D1) and confirmation emails are sent by Resend. Unconfirmed reviews are deleted automatically after 3 days and rejected ones after 30. To change or delete your review, reply to the confirmation email.
