Which AI tools have shut down in 2026?

Is OpenAI Agent Builder shutting down?
Yes. OpenAI announced on June 3, 2026 that it is deprecating Agent Builder, and the product is scheduled to shut down on November 30, 2026. ChatKit remains available. OpenAI's migration guide says to open each workflow, select Code, choose Agents SDK and copy the TypeScript or Python export, then either run it with the Agents SDK in your own app or paste it into a ChatGPT workspace agent (Business, Enterprise or Edu). The export does not convert the workflow graph or guarantee every behavior transfers, so test before the shutdown.
Is Relay.app shutting down?
It already has. Relay announced in July 2026 that it was winding down: new signups stopped, free users kept access until August 15, 2026 and paid customers until September 14, 2026. Relay.app's homepage now says it shut down in September 2026 and that all accounts, workflows and run history have been permanently deleted, so the export tool is no longer available. If you exported your workflows before the deadline, the export includes a build prompt for each workflow that you can use to rebuild it in another tool.
Is Flowise shutting down?
Yes. The Flowise team announced it is winding Flowise down: active development stopped with a code freeze on July 29, 2026, the GitHub repository was moved to public archive on August 10, 2026 (npm packages and Docker images marked deprecated), and end of life was August 31, 2026, when the core team left Discord and GitHub. The Apache 2.0 code stays on GitHub and can be forked. The notice doesn't say what happens to Flowise Cloud.
What happened to Air AI?
As of our check on October 20, 2026, the air.ai domain serves an unrelated company and its pricing page returns 404, so Air AI can't be bought there. We keep the listing so searchers know, and it isn't ranked anywhere on AITeamGuide.
